XP is slowly changing from a random collection of desks and street-found furniture into carefully designed and hand-made-with-love easily transformable shared studio. Jack has designed a furniture system that allows for different configurations of the space, and we cannot wait to try them out…

Extra Practice can be a workshop. 

We share tools, materials and knowledge and help each other make the things we want to make. We got desks, a big table, storage units and work surfaces. When we need things for the space, we like to build them ourselves. 

For the finishing touches, we invite you to build and decorate with us! Whether it’s leaving your wisdom on a kitchen tile or creating art for the walls, you are welcome to come and leave your mark.

Extra Practice can be a gallery. 

We’ve been saving our walls for something special. Now we have the space, why not share it? To inaugurate our gallery, honorary ex-XP member Ceola Tunstall-Behrens will be curating an exhibition under the title of OPENINGS. Ceola will be bringing together a selection of Rotterdam-based artists to reflect on the theme of beginnings, possibilities and potential. 

Join for the vernissage, raise a glass of champagne with us, and enjoy an evening of captivating performances and art.
