I’m still processing last weekends cinema screening of the Translocal lives Place-makers films 🎥 with a nice very broad audience we gathered to watch all the short films made by newcomers in the workshop I guided last fall, the warmth and positivity and motivation and emotion in the room was so beautiful and I really hope and believe this is not the end of this project. One researcher in the audience said “THIS is what education and research should be about” and that really stuck and made us so proud and hopeful😭❤️ www.place-makers.nl explains the project better and will soon hopefully have some of the films as well

And oja now I’m preparing for another ‘co-participatory’ collab with MU Hybrid Arthouse, working with high school students to create an interactive work to facilitate conversations amongst their peers about mental health and social media and physical bodies, all informed and inspired by their input. Can’t wait to meet them and learn from them and find out how 16 year olds experience the world rn 👁📲🌊🧠

I was/am finishing up some things this month, like my residency with Radio Stasis (https://radiostasis.live/STAGI...) and a commissioned website for a queer scholar, while also working on a personal project that is growing somewhere quietly on the internet
